Children turning 5 years old on or before August 31 can start kindergarten in the 2019-20 school year. Register your student now to gain access to free kindergarten readiness programs and materials.

We want students to receive all scheduled time for instruction, so we will not apply for a waiver for the February snow days.

Our community-led Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) met on February 27. They reviewed photos of the aging buildings they toured and started looking at baseline costs for replacing the three schools that will begin the design process this year.

Highline Public Schools will adopt new materials for social studies and math--and we want your input! New instructional materials will be selected for kindergarten-8th grade math and 6th-11th grade social studies. You’re invited to drop by an open house to learn more about the instructional materials under consideration.
